Most people know that siblings often argue with one another. Having a brother or a sister means that you will have someone to share everything with. Differences in attitude could also sometimes be annoying resulting to petty fights in the household.

However, not all siblings fight with each other. There are some siblings who love each other unconditionally to the point where they are even willing to risk their own lives to save the other. This is how a 7-year-old girl with osteoporosis treated her younger sister who was suffering from the same disease.

Little Wang Yue was diagnosed with osteoporosis at a very young age. Her bones were undeveloped and fragile, meaning a minor accident could result in severe injury or death. The worst part is, her condition was getting worse and worse every day since she wasn’t getting the proper treatment. Aside from having brittle bones, her vision was also deteriorating rapidly.

Despite her illness, Wang Yue refused to undergo treatment and only drinks seven bowls of traditional Chinese medicine every day, which truthfully won’t help her get better.

According to the children’s parents, they have already found compatible bone marrow donors for the two girls. Unfortunately, the surgery costs a lot. The doctors told them that surgery for only one child would cost 500,000 yuan (P3,826,962).

The couple then combined their savings and borrowed money from their friends and relatives in the hopes that they could afford surgery. Unfortunately, they were only able to raise around 200,000 yuan (P1,530,785).

Reports state that a fund-raising campaign has been initiated by the family in order to save their two kids. A crowdfunding link is available, but it’s in Chinese.
