The segment “Juan for All” still remains one of the most watched portions of “Eat Bulaga.” With the hit comic combination of Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Paolo Ballesteros, fans of the trio cannot help but remain glued to their screens when these three interact with their chosen community of the day.
Whether they are trying out new games for each barangay to participate in, shooting the breeze with the people in the neighborhood, or interviewing the day’s winner, these three manage to make every episode a must-watch.
However, some episodes are more memorable than others. Case in point, this unforgettable moment when Jose was goofing off when he accidentally fell into the river!
No one, least of all the comedian, can forget the traumatic incident. Especially when he was asked to relive it again!
In this episode which aired August 11, to reach the winner’s house, the hosts had to go by the side of the river. Wally, dressed as Lola Nidora, started gently warning Jose by calling his name. Jose took one look at the place and hammed it up, as if suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
The hosts in the studio, as well as the audience, immediately laughed. Jose, of course, was just kidding. He even chided Lola Nidora: “Ihanda niyo yung mga recorder niyo, si Lola naman!”
He then pretended to be slipping and sliding all the way to the house. After he was safely on the “ground,” he admitted that he really feels a bit of nervousness because of the incident. But he continued to make everyone laugh, even poking fun of Wally’s short legs in the entrance to the house.
