Roi Vinzon is one of the most critically acclaimed actors in the entertainment industry. He does acting in film, television, and even in theater. The star is proud that he rose to fame on his own because of his perseverance. However, he took a break from showbiz to focus on his farm and children.
Little did his fans know that the action star has a green thumb because he grew up as a farmer. He does not only own a 64-hectare sugar plantation in Bacolod but their family also has massive lands in Mexico, Pampanga.
In a past episode of the show “Tunay Na Buhay”, Vinzon gave the viewers a look of his huge property in his hometown in Pampanga. There they plant rice, sugar cane, and corn.
Vinzon even taught the program’s host, Rhea Santos how to plant crops himself. Their farm has rich soil, ideal for rice which they harvest every three and a half months.
According to the actor, he has a happy life in the province.
“Pagdating ko dito, may peace of mind ako,” he said.
He is currently staying in their family’s simple two-story ancestral home where he grew up. The house is filled with memories as it was built in 1925.
Their living room is filled with posters of his films and family portraits.
The actor has three daughters and one son. Actually, his eldest daughter, Isabela has entered showbiz. She joined the ABS-CBN singing contest, “The Voice Teens” where she won second place.
Despite his busy schedule, Roi’s kids said that he is family-centered, nice, and kind. He is a passionate lover to his wife and a hands-on dad.
Meanwhile, he shared his secret to his successful career:
“Be professional kasi attitude ang una sa akin eh. Kahit magaling ka [pero] masama ang attitude mo towards people, aalisin ka rin.”
