With the use of smartphones, cab service is just within the tips of your fingers now! One click and you can instantly summon a taxi. It’s hassle-free, affordable, and reliable that’s why more and more people are depending on cab service like Uber as a reliable means of transportation nowadays.

Uber is one of the two largest companies of private cabs in the Philippines. Recently, the multi-million American-based company was involved in a controversial issue with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB). After paying a fine of Php190 million, Uber is now back on the road.

On August, many devoted passengers rejoiced when Uber announced that it will continue its service again. Aside from providing comfort and convenience, it seems like the ride-hailing company is now also providing food.

Just like any other passengers, they were only looking forward to a safe and fast trip, but they were surprised to find out that Orlando’s cab is filled with food too.

You can choose from the wide selection of snacks available. The back of the front seats looked like your local sari-sari store because it is adorned with biscuits, chips, and candies! If you ever get thirsty, refreshments are also readily provided.

As per the driver’s specific instruction, you can eat all you want but take-outs are not allowed. This simple rule is to prevent other people from taking advantage of the treats so that the other passengers can have a chance to grab a bite of the snacks too.

On the other hand, it has not been specified how long the driver has been doing this but it is evident from his passengers’ faces that they are more than satisfied with their ride.
