For most women, their wedding day is the single most-anticipated day in their life. They plan it for years, they save up for it, they dream about the day, and they vow to do virtually anything for their special day to be perfect. This is why no one can blame the hounds of netizens whose sympathy poured for newly-wed bride Michelle Enero Medilo, who claimed her wedding was ‘ruined’ by her wedding coordinator Ann Atienza.
Medilo even sought the help of Raffy Tulfo in order to gain a full refund for the wedding package she availed from Atienza, whom Medilo claims did not keep true to her promises in the wedding package.
“‘Yung ginawa mong pambababoy sa kasal namin, alam mo naman ‘yung once-in-a-lifetime memories lang na naging worst, pinagkatiwala namin lahat sa’yo, ‘di ba? Naging mabuti kami sa’yo, binayaran ka namin nang buo. Walang labis, walang kulang, pero bakit ganu’n ‘yung ginawa mo sa’min?” Medilo asked Ann Atienza, whom she was able to confront on-air.
Medilo was complaining about Ann Atienza’s supposed shortcomings — paper plates instead of ceramic plates, flowers for the deceased adorning her bridal car, and dim lighting in the wedding reception.
Medilo seems to have gained Tulfo’s full sympathy until the latter found out that the couple was actually asking for a full refund. This, despite Atienza claiming that 95% of the promised wedding package was delivered successfully.
Tulfo felt it wasn’t fair for the wedding coordinator to refund the full amount, given that the supplies promised were delivered.
Ann Atienza, in her ire and displeasure to what could be the worst publicity that her business could take (and could deal her business serious andlasting damage), took to Facebook to air out her side of the story. In a quite lengthy post, she narrated how most of Medilo’s complaints didn’t have any basis at all.
Here’s Atienza’s side of the coin:
She included a picture in the post with the wedding package she and the couple had agreed upon:
Ann Atienza also posted screenshots of her conversation with Medilo where the latter was demanding a full refund for the amount she paid Atienza:
She also provided photographic evidence of the wedding, wherein there seemed to be no signs of Medilo’s claims of a ‘ruined’ wedding.
The set-up of the guest reception, the buffet table, the souvenir table, and the flowers all seemed to be in the right place. The set-up actually looked dreamy, extravagant, and well thought-out.
Even the pictures showing the couple and their guests having fun seem to be a far cry from Medilo’s claim of a ‘binaboy‘ wedding:
Medilo is all-smiles in these photographs, with no sign of the distress she claims to have suffered from, no thanks to her wedding coordinator.
At the end of their appearance on Raffy Tulfo’s show, the couple had gained the host’s displeasure.
Although the original clip seems to have been deleted a mirror was provided by another netizen
Sa mga nag eevent jan, panuorin niyo 'to. Makakarelate kayo kila "Full Refund"! 💻 THE BINABOY NILA ANG KASAL KO…
